Here’s how we bring your vision to life:

 

1. Kick Off the Journey

We start with a laid-back conversation about what’s calling to you. A favorite trail? A surf break that changed you? A feeling you want on your wall? We’ll talk colors, scale, atmosphere—everything that shapes the story. You don’t need a fully formed idea; we’ll map out the creative route together.

2. The First Sketch — Plotting the Path

Once the vision is clear, I’ll create an initial concept sketch that captures the energy, direction, and mood of the piece. This is your first glimpse of how your adventure will translate into the Groot Studios style—dynamic, bold, and alive with movement. You’ll be able to steer the direction before the real work begins.

3. Locking in Your Spot (25% Deposit)

A 25% deposit secures your commission on the Groot Studios calendar. This sets the wheels in motion and reserves dedicated studio time to craft your one-of-a-kind piece.

4. Trail Markers & Check-Ins

Throughout the painting process, I’ll send you progress snapshots—your own little trail markers—so you can see your artwork evolve. Want to shift a color tone or add more energy to a certain part? This is a collaborative climb; your feedback helps shape the final summit.

5. Final Review — The Summit Moment

When the painting is complete, I’ll share high-quality images for your approval. If there are small adjustments needed, this is the moment. Once you give the final “yes,” the piece is ready for its next journey—into your home or space.

6. Pickup or Delivery — Choose Your Route

You can pick up your finished painting directly from Groot Studios, or I can arrange delivery or shipping. Either way, your artwork travels safely from my hands to yours.

7. Final Payment & Bringing It Home

The remaining balance is due at pickup or before shipping. After that—your custom Groot Studios original is officially part of your story, ready for its place on your wall.
